The Historic Greenwich Education Foundation was established in 1997 as an independent 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation formed for the purpose of providing increased community support for the Greenwich Township School. Over the years, the HGEF has used funds to provide Morris Goodwin School with equipment, classroom materials, trips and other educational opportunities for the students. The HGEF also offers an annual $1,000 scholarship to a graduating Cumberland Regional High School student who attended Morris Goodwin School.

Foundation funds are generated through an annual fundraiser, Ye Greate Street, Live! The evening features a live auction, a silent auction and a Chinese auction combined with musical performances by several South Jersey musicians intermingled with comedy sketches. Auction items have, in past years, included an amazing variety of arts and crafts pieces, services, nursery stock, antiques, eagle-viewing trips, gourmet meals, sunset sails and much, much more. This is truly an evening not to be missed.

Additional funding is generated through memorial and other donations, which are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Businesses are also encouraged to donate to the HGEF through direct contributions or matching gifts. For additional information, or to make a donation, please contact the Morris Goodwin School at 451-5513 or email the HGEF at HGEF@morrisgoodwinschool.org.
